Shawn Taylor, PT
Shawn started Taylor Rehab in 1999 in an office in downtown Mooresville. He expanded his practice to a second location in the Mooresville Gateway in 2001. With the growth of his practice he moved the downtown office to a larger office in Morrison Plantation in 2006. Shawn continues to work hands-on in the clinic in addition to overseeing the two locations. He has a broad knowledge base in all areas of outpatient physical therapy. His expertise is on manual therapy techniques to restore function of the spine and extremities.
Shawn graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy in 1994. He also received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 1987. He played tennis at the University of Florida and was the 4 time all South Eastern Conference selection. Shawn played on the professional tennis circuit in 1987.
Shawn is married and has three children. He continues to enjoy playing tennis, sport fishing, hiking, traveling, and running to stay fit. |

Kristine Fedorka, PT
Kristine graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy in 1989. She has worked exclusively in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine throughout her career. She is a certified clinical instructor and has participated with several Universities mentoring student physical therapists. Kristine has completed numerous continuing education courses with emphasis on utilizing manual techniques to address mechanical dysfunctions of the musculoskeletal system. She enjoys working with both post-operative recovery and injury prevention.
Kristine has a broad knowledge of various fitness activities including; Pilates, weight training, running, and swimming. She is a PADI certified scuba diver, enjoys hiking, wakeboarding, camping, and most other outdoor activities. She has 2 children who both participate in competitive athletics. Her husband competes regularly in triathlons. |

Brenna Rose Olberding, PT, DPT
Brenna was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest , but now calls Mooresville home. She is a 2005 graduate of Duke University where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has been with Taylor Rehab since April 2007. Brenna enjoys working with people of all ages and injuries, particularly sports injuries in young athletes. Brenna also has special interest in manual techniques for treatment of dysfunction/disorders of the spine.
Brenna received her Bachelor's of Science in Exercise & Movement Science and Psychology from the University of Oregon in 2001. After graduation she worked as a personal trainer and taught group exercise classes while preparing for the big move to Durham , NC . In her free time, Brenna enjoys running, traveling, and spending time working around the house. |

Amy Edwards, LPTA
Amy received her Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy from Central Piedmont Community College in 1999. She has been employed at Taylor Rehab since 2000 as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. She enjoys working with and helping all age groups accomplish their personal goals and improve their functional abilities.
Amy is a North Carolina native. She was born in Salisbury , NC and currently lives with her husband and daughter in Mt. Ulla . She enjoys water sports, traveling, and ATV rides with her family. |

Debbie S. Sigmon
Debbie was born and raised in Northern Indiana and has been in Mooresville for the last ten years. She started working for Taylor Rehab in 2003 and has worn many “hats” during this time. In 2004 she passed her certification for personal training through the American College of Exercise. She has worked part time at various facilities as a personal trainer for several years. She has also utilized her knowledge of personal training to assist the therapists as a technician.
During the last five years Debbie has continued to pursue her education including; completing an Associate's Degree from Indiana University , taking courses to complete her prerequisites for a nursing program, personal trainer continuing education courses, and maintaining her CPR certification.
Debbie enjoys working out and has participated in numerous road races and triathlons with her husband. In addition to spending time with her three children she is constantly on the go and can be often seen cycling or jogging around Mooresville. |

Dyan LaFranca
Dyan has worked at the Morrison Plantation office of Taylor Rehab since 2007. She takes care of administrative tasks, scheduling, and billing. She has previously worked in various physical therapy clinics and although other opportunities have been presented to her throughout her career, she has always returned to a physical therapy setting because she enjoys being part of a team that alleviates patient's pain and helps improve their quality of life.
Dyan received her license in Cosmetology in 1977 and as a Dental Assistant in 1979. She worked as the office manager for a New York based physical therapy facility in 1988 and has continued in the medical field since. During her down time, Dyan's passions include interior decorating, water activities, gardening, and just being with her grandson and family. Dyan volunteers her time for all kinds of charity events but has a special place in her heart for cancer related events. |

Doug Gillis, CSCS
Doug received his BS in Exercise Nutritional Sciences with a specialization in Fitness and Health from San Diego State University in 1997. In San Diego , he started training clients ranging from novice to elite athletes. Over the years, Doug has obtained several nationally recognized certifications including the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
After graduation Doug moved to North Carolina where he and his family owned and operated their own athletic club for almost ten years. The years of hands on experience has helped expand his training ability and knowledge. He has taken numerous continuing education courses to stay current with the fitness industry. Doug enjoys helping others reach and surpass their fitness goals. |
